User Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your personal data and your FocusMind account at any time.

Last updated: September 25, 2026

Deletion directly in the app

Sign in to FocusMind and open Profile -> Settings -> Account. From there, you can delete your account.

The deletion process is intended to remove the account and its associated active application records. Production deletion still needs end-to-end verification across deployed database relationships, active sessions, notification registrations, provider tokens and backups.

Deletion after Facebook login

If you connected FocusMind with Facebook, you can remove the connection in your Facebook settings. Facebook then sends a data deletion request to FocusMind.

FocusMind processes that request through the data deletion callback and attempts to delete the account data linked to your Facebook ID if a matching FocusMind account is found. Revoking access in a provider account is separate from deleting a FocusMind account.

Deletion by request

If you no longer have access to your account, send a request to the contact address listed in the imprint. Include the email address you used with FocusMind.

We may request additional information to verify that the request comes from the affected person.

Processing status

If Facebook redirected you to this page with a confirmation code, the request has been received by FocusMind. If no account exists anymore, the request is also considered complete.

Connected providers and devices

Deleting FocusMind does not delete your Apple, Google, Facebook or Microsoft account or original provider calendars. Removing the app from a device does not delete the server account.

Sign in with Apple token revocation and the handling of local reminders, push registrations and restored backups must be completed and verified before the deletion process is described as comprehensive.
